I like finding the real problem.

Good software starts with questions. I want to see how the work happens, where people get stuck, and which workarounds have become normal. That is usually where the useful product is hiding.

Kimura began this way. My jiu-jitsu coach was talking about the problems he dealt with while running the gym. I asked more questions. That conversation became a live system for check-ins, memberships, billing, waivers, ranks, events, and family access.

I take the same approach whether I am building something new or improving software a business already depends on. I explain choices in normal language, keep the first useful step clear, and make sure the system fits the people using it.

You work directly with me. There is no account manager translating the problem to someone else. I can help shape the plan, design and build the product, launch it, and remain involved as the business changes.

I enjoy the long part of product work: learning from real use, making careful improvements, and keeping the software useful after the first launch.
